Lovely Base in Berlin

The property makes an attractive base from which to explore Berlin. In a real neighborhood outside of principal tourist zone but all is accessible on foot or by transit. Location is on the E side of the former Berlin wall.

10/10. Location, amenities, people working there. We had a problem with they payment and the reservation they managed to solve it in minutes! I definitely recommend this and will be my place to stay every time I go back to Berlin :)

Was in Berlin for the marathon and stayed in the 1 bedroom home with balcony for 5 nights…it totally exceeded all expectations. The local area is great - loads of amazing places to eat and drink however having a kitchen also meant we could make food at home when we wanted. The apartment was really spacious with separate living room, bedroom and kitchen. Excellent comms from Franca & Simon leading up to the visit. Highly recommended and will stay here again next time we visit Berlin.

My husband and I stayed at Brilliant Apartments in early July, during a heat wave throughout Europe (Berlin was around 31-32˚C for much of our stay). The apartment is in a charming building and off the street, making it quiet and private. The decor is charming, and the apartment was immaculately clean. It lacks air conditioning (similar to most Berlin buildings), but curtains and fans helped keep it comfortable. The kitchenette is functional, although small, but with so many excellent and affordable restaurant options in the neighborhood we wound up going out for every meal. The location is perfect - close to transport but outside of the main tourist hub. The local culture in Prenzlauer Berg is very diverse and interesting - lots of immigrants, gay couples, and young families - a wonderful place to call home for a few days. Mauerpark gets a bit gritty with football crowds on weekends, but we enjoyed the flea market.

We loved our stay at Brilliant Apartments, and will most likely come back for our next stay in Berlin. Room was spacious, modern and had a nice bathroom as well. Lots of storage and nice kitchen. Location was great, with nice place for breakfast just outside the door and a very nice neighborhood for lunch, beers or dinner.
